The ARTT Center of Excellence is planning a retreat, in 2022, for anyone working or interested in research, treatment, education, or policy on substance use disorders to share information, facilitate discussion, and promote collaboration among students, trainees, researchers, and clinicians at UTHSCSA. The distinguished ASPET honor recognizes his innovative and multi-tiered approach to understanding how individual differences, including behavioral and drug histories, impact drug-taking and drug-seeking behaviors. The award was presented at the ASPET Annual Meeting at Experimental Biology 2021.
